This is a hands-on writing and reading course designed for graduate students who anticipate a career in academia that requires proficiency in scholarly writings, especially manuscripts slated for journal publications or conference presentations. The APA format is the main writing style, although other styles can be considered. Prerequisites include mastery of basic English grammar, proficiency in reading and understanding journal articles or conference papers in the field(s) of student’s pursuit.
